Rudman & Winchell attorneys are graduates of numerous different law schools and represent diverse backgrounds. Several are fluent in French.

Members of the firm are admitted to practice in the state courts of Maine, California, Florida, Massachusetts, and New York; in the United States District Courts for Maine and Massachusetts; in the United States Court of Appeals for the First, Second, Ninth, and D.C. Circuits; in the United States Tax Court; in the United States Court of Claims; and in the United States Supreme Court.

The firm's attorneys include a member of the Maine State Bar Association Board of Governors, a member of the Board of Governors of the Maine Trial Lawyers Association, a past president of the Maine State Bar Association, past and current officers of the Penobscot Bar Association, a former Assistant Maine Attorney General, two former prosecutors, and several former judicial law clerks.
