NICHOLAS R. LOUKES was born and raised in Bangor, Maine. He is a graduate of Colby College, cum laude, and a graduate of the University of Maine School of Law, cum laude. While attending law school he participated in the Intellectual Property Law Clinic, where he practiced before the United States Patent and Trademark Office as a student trademark attorney, providing trademark and copyright services to Maine inventors and businesses. Nick was the co-president of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society. He was a summer associate at Rudman & Winchell in 2008.

Nick is a ten year volunteer at the YMCA Leaders School and a volunteer basketball coach.
