ROBERT E SUTCLIFFE was born in Paterson, New Jersey. He is a graduate of Dartmouth College, magna cum laude, and of Georgetown University Law Center. Rob is a former trustee of the Bangor Water District, director of the Bangor Symphony Orchestra and Community Health and Counseling Services.  He also has served as a member of the editorial board of the Maine Bar Journal, and  is a member of the Advisory Board of the University of Maine Museum of Art. He serves as a Director of United Way of Eastern Maine, where he is currently Chairman of the Board. He is fluent in French. Rob has significant experience in complex product distribution law (including energy and petroleum products) and bankruptcy matters.
