Workplace Seminar Series: Hiring
The Bangor Region Chamber of Commerce is offering the following Workplace Seminar Series for 2008. The first three sessions will take place in April, May and June. The second three sessions will take place in September, October and November. Each seminar will run from 9 am to 11 am. Our presenter is Anne-Marie L. Storey, Esquire, an attorney from Rudman & Winchell who practices in the area of employment law.
This seminar will look at different aspects of hiring, including applications, internet recruiting, and interviewing. During the interviewing portion, we will focus on questions that can and cannot be asked of applicants.
Medical Causation in Litigation Settings
Michael P. Friedman will be speaking to the New England College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine on May 15 on medical causation in litigation settings.

On May 21, George Eaton and Anne-Marie Storey will participate as speakers at the Governor’s Regional Conference on Small Business and Entrepreneurship to take place at the Eastern Maine Community College. George will be speaking on the topic of Selection and Management of Enterprise Stakeholders: Investors, Lenders, Employees, Family Members and Advisors.
