TIMBERLANDS & NATURAL RESOURCES
Rudman & Winchell is located in the commercial heart of Maine's industrial timberlands, and is heavily involved in representing the timber industry and other natural resource based enterprises. Our attorneys have extensive experience in timberland title matters, property exchanges, partitions, stumpage contracts, supply contracts, tenancy in common interests, timber deeds, access easements, and other similar issues and documentation involving timber and natural resources in Maine. We have served as counsel for national and international lenders providing financing to farmers, timber companies, paper companies, salmon farmers, and others involved in natural resource industries. We also have extensive experience with forestland regulatory matters, such as the Maine Land Use Regulation Commission subdivision and development approval process, and aquacultural submerged land leases.
